Finding us in Anstruther

It is very easy to find us. We are the iconic brick building on shore street. Just follow our instructions below and you will be alright.

Anstruther and the Murray Library Hostel are located in the Kingdom of Fife about an hour and a half drive from Edinburgh and only 10 minutes from St Andrews.

From Edinburgh

There are direct bus connections from Edinburgh

You can also reach Anstruther from North Berwick with Seafari which can actually save you some time and give you a taste of adventure.

By Car

You would basically follow the A90, then A92 and A915 following the road sign to Anstruther/East Neuk.

There are 2 bus services X60 (about 20 minutes ride) and 95 (about 40 minutes ride)

Driving south on the B9131, 18 minutes drive.
